Kearsley families,
The “Read to a Million” Summer Reading Challenge is back again this summer! Last summer, our families and students embraced the challenge, leading to Kearsley finishing #3 overall in Genesee County. A total of 170 Kearsley students logged pages last summer for an incredible total of 73,121 pages read. Let’s exceed those numbers this summer!
Similar to last year, we will be posting weekly videos throughout the summer with the latest leaderboards by buildings. We have also partnered with some local businesses to provide some great prizes to the top reader in every building. There will also be classroom pizza parties and ice cream prizes awarded to the top readers and also random prize drawings for any students who log pages.
While we have a few more days of school remaining, the form has already opened so pages can be logged anytime. The log form is accessible here.
Thank you for your continued partnership in your child’s education.
Sincerely,
Paul Gaudard
Superintendent
