Kearsley High School juniors & seniors in Project Bike Tech have been working hard to refurbish 60 single-speed children's bikes that have been donated to our new program. We are very proud to say these bikes are now ready for new riders in our Kearsley community.
Due to an overwhelming demand, the REQUEST PROCESS is:
- Kearsley families will complete & submit this request form - https://forms.gle/1AwfaTYGH3iE...
- Bicycles are available for Kearsley K-8 students
- Limit of 2 bikes per family
- Once we hit capacity, the request form will be closed to accepting more submissions
Our REVIEW PROCESS for requests:
- Each request application is time stamped, with date & time submitted
- The requests will be reviewed in the order they are received
- Kearsley administration will review the requests & match them with bikes available for each age-group size
NOTIFICATION
- Families will be notified by email by 5:00 pm Wed., Dec. 13 of their request status
Families receiving refurbished bikes agree to attend the pick up on Thurs., Dec. 14 from 4:00-5:30 pm at KHS to collect their bike(s). We are unable to reserve or store bikes at this time for pick up at a later date. Any bikes that are not picked up on Dec. 14 will be released to another family on our request list.
If your request is not granted this round, we will add it to a list for consideration in the spring. At this time, we do not have bikes suitable for our young students attending Pumpkin Patch.
