We are so excited for the first day of school tomorrow!
Please review the reminders below for important information.
To help the school day get started quickly and efficiently for students and , parents dropping their child off on the first day of school will be asked to use the parent loop. To remain consistent with our district security procedures, parents will not be allowed into the building to walk with their child to class. Students needing support will be escorted to class by a district staff member to ensure that they quickly make it to their teacher.
Please make sure bus tags are securely attached to backpacks. Unless you call in the morning, we will follow exactly what your child’s bus tag says for their end of day transportation.
If you did not attend Open House, your child will receive their bus tag at school on the first day. When making tags, we used either the yellow card that you filled out during enrollment or the transportation your child used last year.
If you have any transportation changes, please call the office early tomorrow to let staff know. The sooner, the better - the office opens at 8:00 for phone calls. Transportation changes will only be taken until 10:30 AM tomorrow. Additionally, it is helpful to let your child’s teacher know via email. The format for email is the teacher’s first initial, last name, @kearsleyschools.org. For example, Sarah Wood would be swood@kearsleyschools.org.
